2018 Moon Mountain District ‘Block 14’ Cabernet Sauvignon

Grown on a steep south-western facing slope of our world-class Mountain Terraces Vineyard, the grapes from our single Block 14 are the epitome of Cabernet Sauvignon. From this pocket of rocky, iron-rich volcanic soil, low-yielding vines bear an age worthy Cabernet Sauvignon, handpicked at optimum maturity. With minimal and gentle processing, the wine was aged for 30 months in select French oak barrels. Our meticulous attention to detail, and no-holds-barred commitment to the highest level of winemaking results in a Cabernet Sauvignon with all elements of greatness; power, exceptional richness, elegance and extraordinary complexity with true individuality.
