Wine as Nature Intended
Each vintage, we privately produce two principal Cabernet Sauvignon bottlings from our Mountain Terraces Vineyard: one that reflects the dark intensity of our red Basalt and brown Andesite volcanic soils, and another that reveals the more restrained, elegant expression for the white Rhyolite soil. The results of uncompromising viticulture and winemaking, both wines boast the depth and structure that is pure Mountain Terraces Vineyard.
These wines are only available to Mountain Terraces wine club members. Due to extremely limited production, there is a waiting list for the Mountain Terraces wine club. Members receive an allocated shipment of Mountain Terraces wines.

Mountain Terraces Cabernet Sauvignon
Big, bold and opulent, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon offers mouth-filling layers of concentrated dark fruit that saturate the broad palate, and firm tannins that persist with complexity and grip on the long seductive finish.

“Named after his father’s best friend, Steve Ledson’s 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Lex’s is also 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and is an inky purple/black color. The nose opens to dark layers that remain pure with blackcurrants, blackberry compote, polished leather, and tobacco. The palate is ample and expansive, unfolding with notes of lavender and menthol. It has lovely sapidity and yet stays light on its feet, revealing hints of vanilla bean on the long-lasting finish. Drink 2027 – 2047.” – Jeb Dunnuck

“Named after Steve Ledson’s daughter, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Taylor’s is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon in this vintage and is a saturated youthful red color. It’s layered and compelling on the nose but slightly reserved before opening up to aromas of savory herbs, sanguine mineral earth, black plum, blackcurrants, tobacco leaf, and cedar. The palate is full and well-detailed, with a velvety texture, well-defiend tannins, and an even, balanced feel through the finish. Its fruit shines more brightly on the palate with notes of cassis shining through once given time. This is my first tasting of these wines, and I’m impressed.” – Jeb Dunnuck

Grown on a north-west facing slope on top of our world-class Mountain Terraces Vineyard, this seamless and compelling Cabernet Franc is remarkably faithful to the vineyard’s pedigree and expresses the unique and distinctive character of the site. It shows explosive flavors of ripe fruit and earth notes with great density and complexity. An opulent vintage with flamboyant flavors, purity, finely honed texture and noble tannins.
